INTERNATIONAL TENANCY WEEK

October 1 - 5 2007

While some actions have been taken in the last year by the state government to reduce the negative effects of the housing crisis on tenants, the overall situation has shown little improvement. TAS and a number of other agencies have pledged their support and are calling for national solutions for the housing affordability crisis.

We are calling for:
  • More public housing
  • Improved rent assistance schemes
  • A national housing strategy
  • More funds for homelessness prevention, intervention & support service

Put your support behind this campaign by:

  • Downloading, printing & displaying this poster.
  • Faxing the poster to your local candidate.
